Donate to Weeneebayko Area Health Authority

Why Help?

Weeneebayko Area Health Authority thanks the variety of governments and government departments, and agencies that provide the vast majority of the Health Authority’s funding. However, as you are aware, healthcare in most of Canada is under-funded.

If you live, work or play in the Weeneebayko Region, whether in Moose Factory, Moosonee or the communities along the coast, you have come to depend upon the Weeneebayko Area Health Authority to provide the best medical care possible if and when needed. This takes money and some of that simply must come through donations.

Over the recent past, Weeneebayko Area Health Authority has suffered some unfortunate events including a fire that significant damaged the Moosonee Health Centre, flooding in Moose Factory and Attawapiskat and a helicopter ambulance crash. Although covered partially by insurance, additional funds are necessary. We need your help now.

Your support helps the hospital and the clinics to be ready for you and your loved ones when you need it the most.
