Nominate a NURSING HERO at WAHA
Do you know an outstanding nurse who has gone above and beyond the call of duty? Have you been inspired, encouraged or empowered by a nursing colleague or employer?
Hospital News’ 14 Annual Nursing Hero Awards is your chance to say thank you to a Weeneebayko Area Health Authority (WAHA) nurse who has made a difference.
The deadline to submit your nomination is Monday, April 8, 2019. We hope you will share your nursing hero stories so people know about the great nurses we have at WAHA. Nominations can be made by patients, a patient’s family members, colleagues or managers.
Make sure your nomination entry includes:
- Full name of the nurse you are nominating
- Facility where they worked/works
- Your contact information
- Your nursing hero story
Along with having their story published in Hospital News, the top three winners will also take home:
- $1500 for 1st place
- $1000 for 2nd place
- $500 for 3rd place
