WAHA is very pleased to offer a variety of different specialty clinics, enabling people in the WAHA region access to these services. Through these clinics, WAHA is bringing specialists closer to the region.
Appointment referrals
To have access to specialty service clinics, people will require a referral from a physician to use these services. Appointments cannot be made without physician referrals.
Specialist visits to the region
Depending on how often specialists visit each WAHA location, waiting lists may develop.
Appointment rescheduling or cancellation
It is extremely important for people to keep their appointments and notify the clinic as soon as possible if an appointment needs to be rescheduled, so other patients can be seen. To reschedule appointments, please contact the WAHA Family Medicine Clinical Coordinator at (705) 658-4544 ext. 2334.
