We are pleased to announce Operation Remote Immunity (ORI) 3.0 Phase 2 COVID-19 vaccine clinics have been scheduled within the James and Hudson Bay Area beginning January 24, 2022. Your local community health centers may also continue to host vaccine clinics before or after ORI begins. Please contact your local Public Health Center for more information about vaccination opportunities near you.
At ORI, first doses will be available to those aged 5+. Second doses will be available to those 5+, including children ages 5-11 who received their first vaccine dose during Operation Remote Immunity 3.0 Phase 1 in November/December 2021. Third dose/booster shots will be available for those 16+ who received their second vaccine dose more than 84 days ago.

Third Dose Eligibility:
Individuals residing in First Nation, Inuit, or Metis communities who are aged 12+ may be eligible for a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine if they received their second dose at least 84 days ago. Use our third dose eligibility table (below) to determine if you may be eligible for a third dose of COVID-19 vaccine, based on the date of your second COVID-19 vaccine. Third doses may also be available at a shorter interval for specific high-risk immunocompromised individuals. If you are unsure about your eligibility, reach out to your primary care provider, local public health center, or visit the ORI clinic nearest you for support.
Pediatric Doses (Children Aged 5-11):
As of November 19, 2021, Health Canada has approved the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5-11. The recommended interval for children aged 5-11 to receive their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine is 8 weeks after their first dose. This is the same interval that is recommended for all ages for a second dose of COVID-19 vaccine at this time.

Second and Third Dose Eligibility Table
To receive your third COVID-19 vaccine dose, you must have received your second COVID-19 vaccine dose at least 84 days before (ages 12+).
Persons who are immunocompromised should discuss their eligibility with their primary care provider, or reach out to their local public health center for more information.
To receive your second COVID-19 vaccine dose, you must have received your first COVID-19 vaccine dose at least 56 days before (ages 5+).
