Mammography Services Summer Interruption

Please be advised that mammography services will not be available at Weeneebayko General Hospital (WGH) from 29 July 2021 – 27 August 2021 due to technologist vacation, decommissioning of the existing mammography unit and installation of the new unit. 

The decommissioning and installation will take place at WGH from 16 – 26 August 2021.  Physics testing will occur on 27 August 2021.  The applications training will take place the week of 30 August 2021.

Please continue to forward your mammography requests to IPS referrals. Any urgent requests during this time frame will be taken care of, as necessary.

We are hoping to book as many people as travel and time allow during the training period.
