Reminder: Visitor Restrictions at Weeneebayko General Hospital

Please be advised that visitor restrictions at WGH are still in effect.All visitors must check in at the Flag Pole Entrance/ER Entrance and go through our screening process. In order to enter the building, visitors must pass the screening requirements. All visitors must check in with a Unit Clerk and/or Nurse to provide their name and screening information.

Any visitor that has traveled out of community must follow isolation requirements prior to visiting the hospital.

Patients are only allowed one visitor at a time, with the exception of:

Palliative patients: Visitor limit extended to five at a time. Visitors must stay in the patient’s room and are to use the WD5 entrance upon entry and exit. Visitors must wear masks at all times. A list of family members must be provided in the event of contact tracing requirements.

Critically ill patients: May have an escort stay with them.

Patients aged 16 and under: May have an escort stay with them.

Visiting hours are from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
