Lifejacket Giveaway

The Minomathasowin ‘Healthy Living” Department is proud to host a lifejacket giveaway. Based on the0–17-year-old population in the region, 1720 lifejackets were purchased for youth along the Jamesand Hudson Bay Coasts. The Mino team began distributing the lifejackets in June and is excited tomove onto its next two communities. With help from the WAHA Paramedic team, we will bedistributing the lifejackets in Moosonee and Moose Factory at the following dates. 

Children must be accompanied by an adult in order to receive a lifejacket.

Moosonee
Date: Tuesday, July 25, 2023
Time: 9AM – 2PM (while supplies last)
Location: Town Square (Flower beds)

Moose Factory
Date: Thursday, July 27, 2023
Time: 10AM – 2PM (while supplies last)
Location: Paramedic Base (EPR)
